Project Educate Deb #13 The 6 Day War

A brief overview.

More detail mostly from an Israeli perspective……

Now almost everyone in America regardless of the political spectrum makes the Middle Eastern history to be all about Israel. And sadly, I can’t fix that by posting videos because nobody seems to be making good ones that address this. But I can give you a little teaser of what is being left out of the above histories…….

What does the above clip have to do with the 6 Day War? Egypt had 70 thousand of its best troops in the Yeman when the war broke out with Israel. They lost about 26,000 troops in Yeman compared to only losing about 15 thousand troops in the 6 day war albeit over a longer time frame. I could go on and on. But the point is, you can’t really understand Egypt at the time by only looking at its relations with Israel.

The same point could be made about the Middle East as a whole.
