I found this video of Sergi Ignatov to be very interesting. I’ve heard it said that the russians push themselves closer to their limits when they perform, and that seems to hold true for Sergi. He does one of the hardest routines you’ll ever see in a public performance, but he also drops more than Click Here to continue reading.

Clever Insect
Lookit what this fly can do! I didn’t know they had brain cells enough to manage something like this.
The Passing Zone
These guys know how to make juggling enjoyable for a non-juggling audience. Not only are they funny, they know how to explain the tricks they are doing unobtrusively. They also do a pretty good job making the old jokes seem less stale. One of my favorite non-technical juggling videos.
Predator or Prey?
So often grade school science books paint the life of a predator as being so easy. You sit around in a tree all day, and grab yourself a snack when you need one. This is especially true with lions, which are portayed as being so fast an powerfull nothing can keep them from dinner. I Click Here to continue reading.
Chinese Dish Kickups
I had heard about this girl before, but I had always assumed the tale was exaggerated. After all, you would have to have such an improbable amount of control over a unicycle, rolling globe, and kickups. But then the other night I found this video. It’s one of those videos I can hardly believe even as I’m watching it. Rather than explain the tricks in detail, I’ll just let you watch it.

Alexander Kiss
I think this is the first time I have seen good quality video footage of Alexander Kiss. It’s easy to see why he’s become so famous throughout the juggling community. I have heard a lot about him in the past, so I knew he was a very smooth and technically advanced juggler, but I didn’t Click Here to continue reading.
WJF 2006 Championship DVD
A week or so ago I finally bought a copy of the WJF 2006 DVD. The WJF DVD’s have always been the most entertaining Juggling DVD’s I know of, and this one was fun to watch as well. Most juggling DVD’s get pretty repetitious pretty quickly, and end up seeming too long for the material Click Here to continue reading.
Qian Brothers Performance Video
The Qian Brothers are famous for doing extremely difficult technical juggling, both in practise and in performance. Until now, the only videos I had seen where of very poor quality. One was of the brothers passing 18 rings (6 each) and the other was of Jian Wan Qian flashing 8 badminton rackets. These videos can Click Here to continue reading.
Superconductor and a Magnet
This is a cool video demonstrating how a superconductor can repel a magnet. It’s funny how so many people assume that this is fake, but it’s actually reproducible in a home setting. This link gives an explanation of how it works, and how you could try it yourself.
Cool way to Ski down a mountain
This guy took a video of himself skiing/paragliding down a mountain. Man, that’d be a fun way to go to work! I wonder how he keeps from being blown into the side of some of those cliffs?
