Cool Toy Illusion
I found this cool little illusion once. I don’t remember where, but I stumbled across it again in my bookmarks. It’s basically like an origami figure that appears to turn it’s head to watch you as you move throughout the room. It looks cool in the video, but it’s even cooler to see in person. Tony vs. Paul
This video reminded me of something I would have liked to have made. In a one sense, it’s nothing special, but on the other hand, it’s pretty funny what two kids with enough time on their hands can come up with. The special effects are fairly simple, yet oddly fitting.

Peter Bone
Peter Bone has always been a big inspiration for me. He serves as living evidence that you can hold down an unrelated full time job and still get really good at juggling. Peter is a computer programmer by day, but when he is off the job, he is a world class juggler, holding several unofficial Click Here to continue reading.
Magic Tricks Explained
I found this really cool series of videos on Youtube where a street magician demonstrates and then explains how a bunch of cool magic tricks are done. Unlike most videos of this nature, the tricks are actually pretty decent. I found it very interesting, although I already guessed how a few of the tricks were done.Click Here to continue reading.
Fun with Sulphur Hexafluoride
Sulphur Hexafluoride is a completely transparent gas 6 times heavier than air. This means it works about exactly the opposite of Helium. Rather than making a persons voice high-pitched, it lowers it. Rather than making objects float on air, objects can float on Sulphur Hexafluoride. The end part of this video shows somebody float a foil boat in a container of Sulphur Hexafluride. It’s surreal.
Ivan Pecel
In one of my previous posts, I talked about some of the things I don’t like to see in juggling videos, so today I thought it’s be appropriate to show a video that I do think was entertaining.
You’ll notice that the tricks are for the most part run-of-the-mill, but they are all aesthetically pleasing and Click Here to continue reading.
Shanghai Acrobats
I find the strength of the guy on the bottom amazing. One armed handstand while his partner does a one-armed handstand on his neck? It’s nuts! Although I find the dance elements pretty boring, it’s worth it to see the tricks they do.

What is it with Jugglers and "Creativity"?
It seems like most of the juggler’s posting videos online these days have a pretty twisted sense of creativity. They seem to think that something is “creative” and interesting just because they haven’t seen it before. I think it really got kicked off when Wes Peden started making videos with random tricks in them. More Here. . .
Trained Sea lions
I always wondered what a trained sea lion act would look like, and now I know. I have to say, I was pretty impressed. Compared to some other animal acts I’ve seen, it was impressive as well as being cute. Off the top of my head, this is the only time I can remember seeing Click Here to continue reading.
