I never would have guessed the playing “Tank Platoon” way back in the 90s would have prepared me for things I would see play out in my life time. Back in those days, being able to get an overhead view of what was going on anytime you wanted was an “unrealistic” part of “Tank Platoon”. Now it is just part of modern warfare. That said, the need for Brandley’s to drop of infantry to clear trench lines was never considered.
