I am not much of a movie watcher. But for some perverse reason I want to see The 9th Company.
I say perverse, because I am not sure that I could watch the movie all the way through. Besides, it is a foreign langue film and I don’t really go for sub titles. But Click Here to continue reading.

Dear Jo-Ann?s. . .
I would like to suggest a proposal that would greatly improve customer relationships.
I propose to call down fire and brimestone and turn the entire franchise into nothing more than a sulferous wasteland, with a special salt pillar for every Jo-Ann’s policy maker.
I can totally affirm from my time spent in Jo-Ann’s stores that this Click Here to continue reading.
Putting a caveat to my demagoguery….
Anger hath a privilege, as Kent said in Shakespeare’s King Lear, but it does not do well to abuse it. I do not regret my demagoguery of the other day, but I do think I need to clarify one thing.
I do in fact believe that it is possible for someone of good faith to Click Here to continue reading.
Whitewashing the South and slandering Lincoln
I got a question for you. Do you believe that the Civil War was all about tariffs that the North was imposing on the South? Do you believe that Lincoln did not really care about slavery? Do you believe that slavery was dying out on its own and that the South would have ended Click Here to continue reading.

My job in the shipping department at Acme is to monitor the flow of product to customer and raise alarms when problems arise or there is potential for improvement.

So read this quick, before I think better of it and Click Here to continue reading.

Handy Plugin
Tatterdemalion asked me for help with her site the other day. The titles on some of her posts were so long the didn’t fit on the sidebar, and it was messing everything up. Since she didn’t want to change the width of her sidebar, we needed a way to truncate really long post titles when Click Here to continue reading.
Crash Course in Dart Moving
Someone by the name of Lola asked for help in figuring out how dart moving works; as such, I’ve tried to answer her specific questions. If someone else has a specific question that isn’t answered here, please let me know. (And Lola, if this doesn’t clear things up for you, let me know!)

Is the horse dead yet?
Having recently read a bit about Poiret, I was quite familiar with the subjects mentioned in yesterdays (Feb. 1, 2007) “The Shape of Clothes to Come” article (in the “Personal Journal” section). By the absurdities of the fashion cycle, designers are getting ready to show their products for Fall 2007, next week. To quote the Click Here to continue reading.
