The water issue that Iran is facing is not too different from what could face a number of cities out west. But they do seem to have done their best to make it as bas a possible. The videos of Iranian farmers using the flooded field method of rice cultivation in one of the driest parts of Iran due to subsidized water are crazy. Yet that is only part of the problem.
