Bogus News Story Of The Day

Two posts for today that are slightly related. WaPo’s Glenn Kessler explains difference between Obama & Trump bans, accidentally indicts MSM and Most claims about Trump’s visa Executive Order are false or misleading.

My own thoughts on this deal: I think the executive order was poorly conceived and done to make headlines and not accomplish anything. Most (All?) of the attacks on US soil came from countries not affected by this ban. That said, the media and politicians who stood by as it became US policy that you could put US citizens on “No fly lists” with no oversight and no notification do not exactly have the moral authority to proclaim the second coming of Hitler because Trump wants to ban people from coming into this country from war zones.

If past is any guide, by the time you read this the news stories about how “the entire leadership team of the department of state is gone” will have been moderated. But just in case it has not here is the REAL NEWS:.

Edit: If you want reasonably sane description of what happened, this is your best bet.

Was Snowden a Russian Agent? In the conservative press the answer is assumed to be yes. This article presents a different view. I think you have to be naive to think that he has not told them what they wanted to know now. But I doubt he was controlled all along. I don’t think the Russians would have wanted the drama from an agent they controlled.
